One of the great undiscovered places in Florida, Crooked Creek is, in reality, a scenic tidal river, rising several miles north of the RiverCamps communities in the sand hills of Northwest Florida and winding its way through untouched needle rush marshes and wildlife habitats until it reaches the open waters of West Bay.

RiverCamps are planned settlements in rustic settings, offering personal retreats in private woodland preserves.  RiverCamps' low-density home sites are sold fee-simple and are surrounded by a large common area preserved for conservation.

The River House

The principal boat launch and storage facility for flats, skiffs, power boats, kayaks and canoes at RiverCamps will be to the north of the River House alongside the main channel of Crooked Creek, in a large, protected boat basin. Property owners may store their own trailered boats under cover and rent boats, as well as purchase bait and equipment for fishing and recreation

Beaches and Camp Creek Golf

Mere minutes from the abundant recreational activities of RiverCamps are the sparkling Gulf waters and sugar-sand beaches considered among the best in the world. And St. Joe-Arvida’s championship 18 hole, Tom Fazio designed Camp Creek Golf Course is also nearby, should you find yourself in need of a different kind of challenge.

RiverCamps on Sandy Creek

Preliminary planning and evaluation continues on RiverCamps on Sandy Creek.  Plans initially call for approximately 600 units.  RiverCamps on Sandy Creek features views of Sandy Creek and Little Sandy Creek and access to East Bay in eastern Bay County.  Pending the receipt of land-use approvals and environmental permits, sales are planned for RiverCamps on Sandy Creek in 2006 or 2007.
